Uintah Canyon - The Sink

Considering we had Monday off, for the Utah holiday, it was still a long work week. By Thursday, I had had enough of my office and I decided to leave a few hours early and make a quick trip up to the mountain. I had thought about going up Rock Creek, but decided to go up Uintah Canyon, since it was closer, and see if I could get to The Sink. The road was pretty rough, but we made it.

There was a few guys up there fishing. We talked to them and they said they had caught a few small brook trout.

We didn't have a flashlight, so all we did was go through the small cave.

A short hike up the mountain next to the river.

Bigfoot sighting!
(He had to do this twice because the first time I was laughing so hard, I snorted.)

One of the fishermen offered to take our picture for us.

Preston's Arrow of Light Ceremony

Last night, Preston had his ceremony for his Cub Scout Arrow Of Light Award. It was fun to watch him in the presentation. My pictures turned out blurry, but I am so proud, I still had to share them.

I sure love this kid. Spending the evening with him and his family made my day. I am so blessed to have them in my life.

Colt's 3rd Birthday

I was so excited that I was able to stay for Colt's birthday party. I can't believe this little boy is already three!

The birthday card I sent him in the mail.

Since he wanted a dinosaur cake, I decided to just stick to dinosaurs for his gift. I had to run a few ideas past Natalie before I decided to get him a puzzle and some bath toys.

The dinosaur toy set I bought to use on his cake.

It was so much fun to see my nephews and family. I have missed them so much. I think the last time I was with all of them like this was at Colt's birthday party last year.

Meeting Holden for the first time. He was born February 10th, but due to complications, he was born in Salt Lake and had to stay there for a few months. After that, it was just hard to find time to go see him.

I love my nephews so much. It really was the best day getting to see all of them.

I had to sneak a picture of two of my favorite people.

 The birthday boy.

Opening his presents from his aunt Savannah.

His big gift from his parents was a new bike. I loved it when Natalie told him to close his eyes and he did! He's such a good boy.

Natalie said that every time some one asked him about his birthday, he would tell them he was getting a dinosaur cake. He absolutely loved it.

My heart was so full when I went home that night. I am so blessed to still be a part of this awesome family.
